Question by : Why am i not getting a call back from Vector Marketing? A rumored scam / rip off job opportunity?
I have completed 17 years of education consisting of an MBA program and a Bachelors in cost acvounting. I still dont have much work experience but, the job i applied for today was for a company named Vector Marketing affiliated with Cutco. I had gone through every interview process along with high school and college students for a summer job opening. The main representative there had all called every individual in seperately and spoke to them. She told me that she will review with the management and I should receive a email If i get the job , By tonight. I have still not received a mail regarding it. Did I get rejected from a company that is known to recruit almost every candidate that applies? and why? i needed the job, I couldve made something out of it. I had much more professionalism than most if not all the other candidates who were still in the process of completing the their academics. I also did more research of the company ahead of time. Im more concerned about still getting the job if I dont recieve the mail soon
Hey, thanks for all the prompt replies. I wanted to include that, the very fact that the company’s reputation is so terrible looking at the online feedback, that it’s bugging me more than ever why I did not get the call back.

within ten years from now, there will be notable richness among many unusual
people around the world. This will give many people the opportunity to kick
start their lives to a stage where they had always wanted. Your fund is now
deposited in an offshore bank with a hardcover insurance. Due to the mix up of

While there is a large amount of information in the communication that is consistent with an actual company in germany. The likelihood of this being true is slim at best. My suggestion would be to contact the Corporation through the address listed on the google information not the info on the email.
The email address is from Hong Kong with references to Germany and London. Impressive but dubious.

Question by chris: Hard to tell if this is a scam?
So I came across a good deal for a car on craigsist and responded to the ad. This Lady’s story is SOMEWHAT similar to other scams, except she’s across the country, now out of the country, she’s not in the military, but a divorced single mother and she wants the transaction to go through eBay motors, with mention of a security program. She also provided more pictures of the car, as well as the VIN. Here are a couple emails she’s sent me already. Scam??
First email:
Thank you for being interested in buying my ________________, 3.0L 6 Cylinder Engine, Automatic transmission, VIN # ____________________.
It has 24,100 miles, beautiful condition in and out, zero dings/dents, no accident, non-smoker vehicle.
The vehicle is registered in my name and the title is clear (no lien). It comes with all the documents needed for registration, title and the keys. I just got divorced and I decided to move closer to my parents. Right now I’m located in Brooklyn,NY and the vehicle is here with me. The vehicle was awarded to me in our divorce. Being a single mother and not having a driver’s license I decided to sell the vehicle.
The final price is $ 11,500 including shipping and delivery to your home address. So if you decide to buy this vehicle or need further information please get back to me as soon as possible.
Thank you and have a great day,
Kylie Loza
Second email:
As I already said in my first email the vehicle is currently located in Brooklyn,NY ready to go anywhere in the United States. The transaction will be managed by eBay Motors; I’m affiliated to their vehicle purchase protection program and I’m going to sell the vehicle using by their service. They will act as a neutral party in this transaction. You will send the money to eBay Motors and as soon as the payment is confirmed they will notify me to proceed with the shipping. I will ship the vehicle, you will receive it and will have 5 days for inspection. During all this time eBay Motors will hold the money. If you are satisfied with the vehicle and decide to keep it you inform eBay Motors about this and they will transfer the money to me. If the vehicle is not as advertised and decide not to keep it eBay Motors will refund you the money, no questions asked, and shipping back the vehicle will be my concern.
If you agree with these terms and you have the money ready, send me your full name and the address where you want the vehicle to be delivered and I will initiate the transaction through eBay Motors. Then you will receive all the transaction details from them.
Also, feel free to ask me any question you may have.
Thank you,
Kylie
P.S. I have attached few pictures below:
–a lot of pictures of the car–
whattaya guys think?

Answer by Bruce
I get what you are saying about possibly sounding like a scam. What I would do is make up a document that she and you will sign. Type up a document saying “This is a legit transaction, if I ___________ then bla bla abla” See what I mean, Type out what you are going to do and what she is going to do. Type up exactly what is going to happen. Also type up what would happen if something goes wrong. Y’know. Good Luck
